I’m exited, more and more people are sending me cheerful messages expressing their desire to be part of ‘A Song’s Journey’. People simply LOVE to give from their hearts when the ideas behind something are those of love and humanitarian actions. We all love to give, to feel that we don’t just occupy space in the world and are not doing anything. I listened this week a guy who’s name is Gay Hendriks. This gentleman is a motivational speaker. He mentioned that one day one of his clients called him feeling really depressed and willing to kill himself, it was really like he was about to shoot himself. Gay listened to him and told him to think about something that he could have done during the day that would have contributed to make somebody else’s life better. The guy stayed on the phone for a long time thinking about the question, and finally he answered: The lady downstairs is an old woman, when I was coming to my apartment this morning I saw the entrance of her apartment and it was really dirty, lots of papers and garbage, I thought it needed to be cleaned. Gay told him: look go get the broom, the dustpan and clean up her entrance area, I’ll wait for you on the phone. So he did, and it took him about fifteen minutes. When he came back, Gay was still on the phone. And the guy who wanted to kill himself a few minutes ago, now was a complete different person. This really touched me, and I believe if we don’t live to serve, then life is meaningless, is empty, is sad.
I have to say thank you to all of my friends from all over the world, we will make something very good, we will send a message of love and unity, tolerance, as well as we cooperate to alleviate the emotional wounds of other people.
People love to give and to be appreciated. So far I already have partners from Israel, from the United States, from Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Spain, Asia, willing to sing ‘I’m Traveling the World’ and this call started only a few days ago. I’m expecting to contact more people, people from Africa, Australia, Italy, etc.
Please feel free to spread the word if you find us or if you already joined our effort.
Let’s sing, let’s make it happen!
A Song’s Journey has begun.
